Ever since I was little, I have been interested in traveling the world and discovering just how beautiful it is. My parents talked about how they went to Hawaii for their honeymoon, which intrigued me to look into places that I would want to go when I got married. As I have gotten older I realized that there are more places that I want to see than a typical honeymoon would gather. My family is not much of one for traveling. We go to the beach once a year for vacation, but that is only a five hour trip to Florida. Before I ever travel worldwide, I would like to road trip within the country. These hopes and dreams of mine cannot simply be accomplished within the college budget I am in now. My parents believe wholeheartedly that college is one of the most important things I will do with my life. Which is why I am trying to find a job that will cover these expenses, and also give me the time to do the traveling I desire. I have recently watched a few videos about travel therapy. Travel therapy helps people that are losing themselves in the world remember there is more to life than the things we see every day. Instead of focusing on the next day, traveling helps you live in the moment. I want to get lost in nature. I love adventuring, clearing my mind and finding myself. Whenever I find myself worrying and stressing about little things, I go outside and just walk around looking at nature. I grew up on a lot of land, because of where I have grown up I have always wondered about nature and all the life it stores. Traveling is only part of the adventure. Once I get to the places that intrigue me, I want to learn about the different types of people there and their different cultures. It is so interesting to me how some people are brought up in completely opposite worlds than others. I like things that get my adrenaline rushing. Roller coasters, rope swinging and cliff jumping are things that I love to do with my friends. Places like Hawaii and Jamaica are really popular for their cliff jumping spots. I hope that before I graduate from college that I can go skydiving. I am determined to learn more about traveling, adventuring and exploring life. Through these accomplishments I hope to find myself and my meaning in this world.

I too would love to travel the world one day! I agree a new environment everyday is therapeutic. Growing up in a small country town in Tennessee, the views grew bland over time. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love where I am from. However, everything gets "generic" after awhile. I can't wait to read more about you're passion for traveling the world!
